Have you ever had a friend that you where interested in, but you only looked at them for one thing?
You knew your intentions and so did they. But, you two decided to cross that sexual line and all HELL broke out! Next thing you know someone decided they wanted a relationship. So the question is "Can Friends Have A Sexual Relationship Without Catching Feelings?”
Special Musical Guest: Dreamy
Definition of Dreamy; 1. full of dreams 2. pleasantly abstracted from immediate reality 3. given to dreaming or fantasy.
The day Dreamy was born her grandmother took one look at those beautiful eyes and stated "She is Dreamy". The beauty of her eyes told a story that touched her grandmother’s heart and soul. Dreamy’s journey is liken to that of A Star is Born. Dreamy’s personality (don't you just like saying her name?) is vivacious, sensational, and loving. This Soul was born and bred in Newark New Jersey (Brick City).
It could be said that Dreamy is one of the natural resources hailing from this great city and state. Newark is currently being positioned for a rebirth of a new Mecca of music. Dreamy is also a part of the continued heritage of famous artists that hale from New Jersey. She has flava, opulence, and she approaches her artistry very seriously. Dreamy’s vocal styling includes, pop/urban, hip-hop, gospel music, and rock n roll.
Dreamy and her 3 sisters formed a group called Famil. Each sister brought their own distinct styles of dauntless charisma, creating what can only be describe as heaven sent. Dreamy is the leader of the bunch - and you know what that means for any family - she is the fearless one, the power house, the in your face raw soul. The group was signed to Universal/Motown Records, and toured with Mary J Bilge, Joe, Cash Money, and Nelly.
Dreamy has since ventured out on her own and has open for artist such as Chrissette Michelle, Kelly Price, Marsha Ambrosius, Waka Floka,Maino and Vado. As a solo artist, Dreamy gives a performance that is gusty and straight from the streets. Her lyrics speak the language of love regarding its gains, losses, fury, and then loves ultimate respect. She is a powerhouse of kinetic vocal ability with a fresh new pop/urban, hip hop style. Dreamy is ready to take her career to new heights.
Dreamy performed for Al Sharpton’s National Network event at the Sheraton hotel in New York City and John Blassinggame's Black Woman's Magazine 17th Annual Fashion Event at the Marriott Resorts Hotel in New Jersey. Live In The Cipher Artist Review| MC Aitch - The Umbrella Tape 3
Tuesday, 28 February 2012 19:41 Published in LIVE In The CipherLive In The Cipher brings you another up and coming MC for your listening pleasure. Tonight we introduce you to Jersey's own MC Aitch. We will be reviewing his The Umbrella Tape 3 project live along with you the listener. We want to hear from you call in 646-233-1302, if your an MC call in and spit your hot 16, or just call in and let us know how you feel about hip hop in general.
Tonight's Guest: MC Aitch
The son of two Caribbean parents, 22-year-old Aitch has started his own company, The Umbrella Media Group, and is embarking on his journey to creatively bring a fresh breath to hip-hop. Rapping and recording since the 9th grade Aitch has took his time and energy not only start a company but a network filled with everyone from artist, business grads, clothing designers, and graphic artist. The network is better known as "The Umbrella".
Fresh out of high school, Aitch didn't make it to college and felt that it was a sign to pursue his music career and created his first official solo mixtape titled "The Umbrella Tape". Soon after he got himself back in school to major in marketing in order to better understand how to market himself and his soon to be established company. Due to the success of "The Umbrella Tape", Aitch began to write "The Umbrella Tape: Prequel", which was a collection that was meant to give his listeners a background of who he is to give them a better understanding of his material.
Coming from South Orange, a multicultural city in New Jersey, is what Aitch feels gave him such passion to stand out from the norm. Aitch's passion for creativity is what influences him to push the limits of hip-hop through lyrical content and production. Though he is not a "gangster rapper" you can still find him giving his listeners that hard edgy feel that the genre is known for.
After sharing stages with the likes of some of hip-hops most popular veterans and starting his own company with close friend and UMG artist J-Rok Aitch is still producing plenty of music for all us hip-hop heads can enjoy, expect to hear big things from him and the UMG family.
