Tainted beef leads to grocery recalls
DODGE CITY, Kan. -- At least three major grocery store chains are recalling certain packages of ground beef due to possible E. coli contamination. The recalls at Winn-Dixie Stores Inc., Publix Super Markets Inc. and Kroger Co. mainly in the southeastern U.S. stem from meat from National Beef Packaging Co. of Dodge City, Kan.

Dozens of teens arrested in Philadelphia on first nights of new 9 p.m. curfew
Philadelphia teens breaking curfew are losing a lot more than their car keys.Dozens of teenagers were arrested in the City of Brotherly Love this weekend for violating a new curfew policy aimed at keeping bands of marauding thugs off the streets.Mayor Michael Nutter earlier this week called for kids younger than 18 to be off the streets by 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays in response to a recent string of violent attacks by teenage mobs.
Just eight months after becoming an independent company, Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc. has agreed to be acquired by Google Inc. for $12.5 billion in cash. The $12.5 billion price tag for Motorola Mobility amounts to $40 per share, a premium of 63 percent over the company's closing price on Friday. Motorola shares were up 56 percent to $38.13 in trading on the New York Stock Exchange.

CINCINNATI -- A teenager died Saturday after a campus police officer at the University of Cincinnati used a Taser on him, WLWT-TV reported.
