I am writing this post the greatest fantasy football phenom ever to grace NFL stadiums, Randy Moss, on my mind. A WNBA game provides the ambient music (Tulsa Shock at Minnesota Lynx) as I tip-tap on the keys of my Toshiba the thoughts of a sports nut. Last night I witnessed a robbery disguised as the final bout of Showtime’s Bantamweight Tournament when Abner Mares and Russell Mora fleeced champion Joseph Agbeko of his IBF strap. Agbeko shook off a fluke knockdown (he was falling from the loss of balance before a Mares punch grazed his head) and repeated low blows from Mares before the eleventh round, and then the roof fell in.
