Live In The Vocal Booth Cd Review: Tyrese - Open Invitation| Tonights Topic: The Miscommuncation of Text Messaging and Emails
Sunday, 06 November 2011 01:28Tyrese Darnell Gibson is an American singer born in 1978 who performs as Tyrese or Black-Ty. The main thrust of his musical activity is in the R&B and hip-hop genres but he has carved out a successful parallel career as a model and actor. His many recent appearances on film include roles in 2 Fast 2 Furious and Transformers.
Though he was a member of a hip-hop band Triple Impact at the time, his first eponymous release was as an R&B artist in 1998. He followed this with further R&B styled albums, 2000 Watts (2001) and I Wanna Go There (2002). The first appearance of his hop-hop persona was on his most recent album, Alter Ego which was released in 2006 and features one CD of R&B music (as Tyrese) and one CD of hip-hop (as Black-Ty).
More recently he has been collaborating with Ginuwine and Tank in the supergroup TGT. (Community bio from Soundunwound)
The Miscommunication of Text Messaging and Emails
In today's fast paced technical society people have so much to do with so little time that having a conversation verbally is very unlikely, especially concerning business. Text messaging and emails allow an indivivual the ability to communicate with whomever they want to at their leisure, while multitasking with whatever they are doing. Yet words themselves are not the key elements utilized in our understanding of communication. Things like body language, facial expressions and tone of voice shape the way we interpret what words mean to us. How easy is it to misunderstand someone's text message and/or email because of the emotion we assume are behind the words? How can you avoid getting into an argument over text messaging and/or email?

Bobbi Kristina Checks Tyrese On Twitter Over Whitney Rumors
Monday, 11 July 2011 09:32Earlier this week, rumors broke that Tyrese was secretly dating Whitney Houston. The “National Enquirer” reported that Tyrese and Whitney met during the Grammys and Whitney asked him out on a date after that. As bizarre as that may sound, let’s not forget a few years ago when Whitney was allegedly dating Ray J. With that being said, this rumor doesn’t seem too far fetched- at least not to me anyway.
