Would you like your racism served blatantly or subtly?
Saturday, 18 June 2011 14:56As painful as it is, racism is still very prevalent and isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. We see it in the media day in and day out. Our communities are still being affected by it; slowly gnawing away at the pride of who we were created to be.

Interracial Dating: Still an Issue?
Thursday, 28 July 2011 07:04Is interracial dating still an issue in this generation?
Interracial couples face a number of challenges, some similar to couples who are from different religions or have different family backgrounds. Will the two families be able to meet and get along? What about children? How will they be raised? However, interracial couples seem to have more to consider before making the commitment. Does the family choose to live on this side of town or the other? How will the couple support their children when they face identity issues growing up? The interracial couple will also most likely face negative comments, looks, and stares from complete strangers and even from supposed friends and family. People who interdate need to have the ability to not worry about what others think and say about them. But what if it is your family? Couples have been denied marriage licenses. Children have even been cut off from the family for dating/marrying outside their race.
But wait! Is that the generation of yesteryear or does Generation X & Y still carry the veiled prejudices of their parent’s generation?
Let's talk about it!

Game Show Experiences Racist Moment [Video]
Friday, 20 May 2011 06:38There’s an intriguing game show out there and if you know what game show this is, we’d like to know. The show seems to have an interesting platform. The object of the game seems to be physical objects or people! The contestants are supposed to look at a picture of someone and guess what type of person they are. That’s what we gather from the small clip available online. But there’s a twist to this particular episode.
